Something of a Bristol institution, Primrose Cafe has been around for nearly twenty-five years. We’ve grown in size (originally we only had 10 seats) but we haven’t lost any of the warmth or passion for getting it right that led us to open back in the early 1990′s. Come in for a cup of coffee or a steaming mug of hot chocolate in winter, sit and warm your toes by the radiator and settle down with the paper. In Summer, sit outside and watch the world go by or venture upstairs to our private sunny terrace. Our menu changes with the seasons and as we make everything fresh every day, it will always reflect the weather, the time of year and the available ingredients.

We are very informal – we don’t take daytime reservations – just turn up, order and pay at the counter; your food will be brought to you and, when you’ve finished, just get up and go, with no hanging around for the bill.
